Research:

Internet traffic is exponentially increasing due to demand from high bandwidth applications such as Internet of Things (IoT), data backup over the cloud, online gaming, home automation, immersive video, live feed of surveillance, and from increasing use of high-definition videos. To cater to these requirements, we are working towards implementing a high bandwidth data communication system based on Super Channels that provides bandwidths exceeding several Terabits per second. An optical frequency comb acts as the source of the carriers for this Super Channel implementation.
